Having narrowly lost the previous year to the office agents for a second time the investment agents of Birmingham were out to take the coveted trophy and city’s bragging rights. Franck-Steier Price Ltd (FSP) had two representatives in the investment team, Andy Price & Ben Blackwall.
The investment agents got off to a flyer in the morning, partly with good golf and also with generous handicaps and led 4.5 to 1.5 over lunch. 1.5 points coming from the Franck-Steier Price Ltd (FSP) camp with Andy maintaining his 100% record with Colin Jarvie (although this wasn’t to last much longer!).
The afternoon saw the investment team hold out for their first win, picking up another 3.5 points to beat the office agents 8-4. Ben’s comfortable 5&4 win with Mark Rooke being one of the highlights.
